The Ras Al Khaimah casino sits within Wynn Al Marjan Island on Al Marjan Island, but it was still closed to the public on 10 August 2026. Wynn's most recent official statement gives September 2027 as the month when guests are expected to arrive.
The table separates work already completed from planned items and attaches a reference date to every time-sensitive figure. Specifications and the opening month may change before launch, so each entry is tied to the newest official source available.
| Point | Verified position | Source date |
|---|---|---|
| Resort condition | Construction is ongoing and visits are not yet possible | Updated 10 August 2026 |
| Opening month | September 2027 is the stated date | Wynn results dated 4 August 2026 |
| Licence record | GCGRA lists Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC under the Wynn Al Marjan name | Latest GCGRA register |
| Tower details | The tower has 70 floors and a planned final height of 352 metres above sea level | The resort's current website |
| Guest inventory | The 1,530 units are structurally complete | Data dated 2 February 2026 |
| Gaming floor size | 225,000 sq ft, approximately 20,900 sqm | Wynn 2025 annual filing submitted March 2026 |
Calling the project under construction does not make a room, restaurant or gaming floor available for booking or entry. The official site currently offers an email form for updates, but submitting it creates neither a reservation nor an admission ticket.
Wynn Al Marjan Island is Wynn's first integrated resort in the Middle East and North Africa, and its developers call it the UAE's first integrated resort. The single destination is planned to contain a hotel, gaming floor, restaurants, entertainment, retail, spa, beach, marina and events centre.
More than 60 hectares of Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah are occupied by the project, which faces the Arabian Gulf. Its development brings together entities linked to Wynn Resorts, Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding, while the gaming register names Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC.
The term shows that gaming is one part of a much larger property. Published details so far focus on the hotel, restaurants, beach and events, and that distinction helps readers separate announced amenities from the gaming floor information Wynn has not released.
In its second quarter results on 4 August 2026, Wynn said guests will be welcomed from September 2027. That is the latest month it has named, replacing pages that mention only 2027, first quarter 2027 or spring 2027.
Earlier investor material pointed to first quarter 2027, then management referred to a short delay before settling on September. Those older estimates therefore sit behind the current official guidance, which remains September 2027.
The results release is the strongest source among these references, but it still describes a future date for a resort that must finish construction, fit out and operations. Check the official resort website and Wynn investor releases before paying for a non-refundable trip.
Placed in date order, the timeline keeps an older announcement from looking like the latest news. It follows the Ras Al Khaimah casino from an announced concept to a licensed facility under construction with a stated opening month.
| Milestone date | Event | Meaning for visitors |
|---|---|---|
| Date: 25 January 2022 | The joint project was announced on Al Marjan Island | The plan started with early scope and timing |
| Date: 4 October 2024 | Receipt of the commercial gaming facility operator licence was announced | The project became a GCGRA licensed facility |
| Date: 25 November 2025 | A ceremony marked the 70-floor hotel tower reaching the top | A visible tower milestone was completed |
| Month: December 2025 | Later Wynn updates recorded completion of structural concrete | Attention moved to the crown, facade and wider interior fit-out |
| Date: 2 February 2026 | Facade work reached 83%, all 1,530 accommodation units were structurally complete and Wynn Bridge reached 48% | This is still the latest detailed release of construction percentages |
| Date: 11 March 2026 | Construction restarted after a short pause | A condition update, not notice of opening or cancellation |
| Date: 29 June 2026 | An original theatre production with Punchdrunk was announced | The entertainment plan gained a named production for after opening |
| Date: 15 July 2026 | Wynn's investor presentation showed substantial interior work under way | The latest visual update showed the fit-out phase was active |
| Date: 4 August 2026 | September 2027 was set as the opening month | The current official date for planning |
The resort story dates the ceremony for the 70-floor tower to 25 November 2025, while later Wynn corporate updates place structural concrete completion in December 2025. Here November records the site ceremony and December records the later construction milestone, so the two references remain separate.
Wynn reported on 2 February 2026 that structural concrete had reached the roof of level 71, with workers fitting 21,852 of 26,471 facade panels, or 83%. The guest site calls the tower 70 floors, so both descriptions are retained without deriving another floor count. Wynn has used more than one interim height figure, while the published final target remains 352 metres above sea level after the spire is installed.
Elevators and escalators were being installed, while mechanical, electrical and finishing teams had started work throughout the accommodation units. Concrete and structural steel work in the low-rise buildings was 99% complete in the February update, but that percentage does not mean the areas are ready for guests.
The planned 548-metre Wynn Bridge will connect the resort through Wynn Boulevard to E311 and E611. On 2 February 2026 it was 48% complete, with piling finished and nine of ten bridge column pile caps installed; completion was targeted for late 2026 at that stage.
Wynn's August results said construction was advancing rapidly, and its 15 July 2026 investor presentation showed extensive interior work. Neither source gave a newer facade or bridge percentage, so the February figures remain tied to their date instead of being raised by assumption.
Wynn's 2025 annual report, filed in March 2026, gives the gaming area as 225,000 sq ft. That equals about 20,900 sqm and remains the figure used here because it comes from the newest direct company filing.
Older property and news reports continue to quote an approximate 18,500 sqm gaming floor, including current search listings. Wynn has not published a reconciliation showing two separate spaces, so 18,500 sqm remains an earlier estimate rather than being added to the newer figure.
| Metric | Working figure | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| Gaming floor | 225,000 sq ft, approximately 20,900 sqm | The latest number in Wynn's annual filing |
| Older figure still seen online | Approximately 18,500 sqm | An earlier estimate, not the leading current figure |
| Development land | Over 60 hectares | The full integrated resort, not just its gaming floor |
| Hotel tower details | A total of 70 floors | The current description for guests |
| February structure update | 299 metres at the level 71 roof | A dated construction measurement rather than the final height |
| Target height with spire | A planned 352 metres above sea level | The resort website's final architectural target |
A floor area does not disclose how many tables or slot machines there will be, what games will be offered, or how public and private areas may be divided. Wynn had published none of those details by 10 August 2026, so a precise inventory must wait for a newer operator source.
Wynn's construction update in February said the full 1,530 accommodation units were structurally complete, although interior fit-out continued. The breakdown below keeps apartments, townhomes and estates within the total and avoids counting them again.
| Accommodation type | Count | Description in the source |
|---|---|---|
| Resort room category | A total of 1,217 | Rooms and suites in the main tower |
| Enclave suite category | A total of 297 | A separate hotel section on the upper floors |
| Royal Apartments category | A total of 2 | Two apartments at the tower's top |
| Garden Townhomes category | A total of 4 | Separate garden homes included in the design |
| Marina Estates category | A total of 10 | Residences next to the marina |
| Overall total | Overall: 1,530 | The currently announced accommodation total |
Enclave describes a hotel within the hotel on the upper floors, with its own entrance, arrival area and lifts. The suite section has separate service arrangements, but Wynn has not announced rates, packages or a reservation opening date.
Wynn materials from 2024 and 2025 used 1,542 before the current inventory was settled. The February 2026 update and the resort's current pages support 1,530, whose category totals can be checked in the table.
The plan lists 22 restaurants, bars and lounges as well as a Beach Club for hotel guests and resort visitors. Wynn has announced a French-American steakhouse led by Alain Ducasse and Delilah, while the dining page still showed restaurant bookings as closed in this update.
On 29 June 2026 Wynn announced an original production by Punchdrunk to coincide with the resort opening. The published design gives ticket holders a choice between viewing from upper seating and taking a moving interactive route downstairs and backstage, but performance times and prices remain unpublished.
The design includes a naturally lit passage with luxury brand shops, although the complete tenant list is not out. Wynn has also announced art for public areas and rooms, including Jeff Koons' 11-metre Tulips sculpture, alongside historic and contemporary pieces that place art throughout the guest route.
The plans include a 420-metre private white-sand beach and a deep-water marina for large yachts. A daytime Beach Club is part of the plan too, but day tickets and access rules for non-resident visitors have not been issued.
Wynn lists 12 pools with private cabanas and landscaping, together with a luxury spa, salon and fitness centre. Treatment prices, opening hours and pool use rules are still unavailable, so no accurate visit cost can be calculated yet.
The official amenities list includes a kids' club and outdoor activities, showing that the resort areas away from gaming are intended to welcome families as well. Accepted ages, club fees and supervision arrangements have not been set out, so the guest guide is needed before making plans.
Coral Court houses the resort's celebrations and events centre, covering the published 7,708 sqm. The plan includes six meeting rooms that can be rearranged, separate salons for brides and grooms, and two prayer rooms, one for men and one for women.
The Grand Ballroom measures 2,633 sqm, has no columns and looks onto the marina. Organisers can use the measurement to gauge the venue, but it does not set a seating capacity because tables, stages and aisles change the layout.
As of 10 August 2026 Wynn had published no venue packages, prices or minimum spends. When sales begin, request a written capacity plan and a quote that covers production, food, cancellation and accessibility, rather than basing guest numbers on floor area alone.
The resort is on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, not in Dubai. Its website estimates about 15 minutes by car from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, while a 2025 Wynn financing release put the drive from Dubai International Airport at roughly 50 minutes.
| Departure point or route | What official sources say | Planning note |
|---|---|---|
| Ras Al Khaimah International Airport departure | The resort website estimates about 15 minutes by car | Check the actual time on arrival day because traffic varies |
| Dubai International Airport departure | Wynn's 2025 release says about 50 minutes and places the resort less than 50 miles away | Allow for baggage and traffic instead of treating the estimate as a guarantee |
| Wynn Bridge route | A planned connection through Wynn Boulevard to E311 and E611 | Completion was targeted for late 2026, so confirm that the route is open |
| Resort shuttle service | No operating timetable or fare has been published | Do not base plans on a service the operator has not announced |
| Parking and valet services | Final operating details remain unpublished | Review arrival instructions once reservations open |
The 548-metre bridge is intended to give the resort a more direct connection to the wider road network, but the latest detailed release still treated it as unfinished. Wait for Wynn to announce completion or for an updated map to confirm the route before calling it open.
Reconfirm the drop-off point after bookings begin because the hotel, events centre and marina may have different entrances. Leave a time buffer and do not pay for transport unless a written reservation confirmation includes it.
The GCGRA licensee register names Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC, trading as Wynn Al Marjan, among land-based gaming facilities. On 4 October 2024, Wynn said this entity had received the first licence for a commercial gaming facility operator in the UAE.
The register confirms that the named entity is licensed by GCGRA for this specific land-based facility. The same register lists The Game LLC as the UAE Lottery operator, so land-based facilities and lottery products belong to separate licence categories. Wynn Al Marjan is expected to be the first licensed casino in the Gulf Cooperation Council once open. The wider framework is explained in our UAE gambling laws guide.
Before guests are admitted, Wynn should publish the gaming floor's age, identity, admission, responsible gaming and complaints procedures. Rules from other Wynn properties cannot be treated as terms for this facility until the operator issues its own wording.
In the months before opening, operating arrangements may still move, so unknown details deserve the same attention as confirmed figures. The table distinguishes an email sign-up, concept image or third-party offer from an actual booking or operating commitment.
| Unpublished detail | Position on 10 August 2026 | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Hotel booking and room rate details | No reservation date or prices have been announced | Follow official updates and wait for Wynn's booking engine |
| Restaurant booking details | Wynn's dining page still shows them closed | Do not pay an intermediary for an unverified table |
| Casino game list details | Table, machine and game title counts are unpublished | Hold off for the operator's gaming information |
| Betting limit details | Minimum and maximum stakes remain unpublished | Do not use Wynn Las Vegas limits as a substitute |
| Age, ID and admission charge details | Wynn's final conditions have not been published | Review Wynn and GCGRA before travelling |
| Dress code and opening hour details | No details have been published | Read the guest guide when it appears |
| Shuttle, parking and valet details | No operating timetable or prices have been published | Request confirmation alongside the hotel booking |
| Theatre ticket details | Interest registration is available, but schedule and prices are incomplete | Do not mistake registration for a ticket |
Wynn's site collects email addresses and areas of interest for news and early updates. That action reserves no room, restaurant or theatre seat, and fixes neither a price nor priority without a separate booking confirmation.
Use the resort website first, compare the licence with the GCGRA register, then match the opening date to the latest Wynn investor release. If an official channel does not provide a detail, label it unannounced instead of borrowing rules from another resort.
This page and its gaming information are for adults aged 18 and over, while GCGRA advertising standards treat anyone below 21 as underage for commercial gaming other than lottery. Wynn had not released final gaming floor identity and admission requirements by this update, so check them before travelling and do not assume hotel access covers every resort area.
Use a future one-day entertainment budget of 800 United Arab Emirates dirhams (AED) as an example, not as a Wynn price. Set aside AED 500 for transport, food and contingency, then make AED 300 the absolute gaming limit whatever the result.
Choose the spending limit and finish time before entering the gaming area, and keep extra cards or funds outside the plan. When either limit is reached, leave instead of putting contingency money into another stake or chasing a loss.

The answers below use official information available through 10 August 2026. Check the opening date and entry terms again when reservations begin because future operating details may change.
No. Construction is still under way, and Wynn said on 4 August 2026 that guests are expected from September 2027.
September 2027 is Wynn's current official date. It appeared in the second quarter results dated 4 August 2026 and supersedes the older first quarter and spring 2027 guidance.
The resort is on Al Marjan Island in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, not in Dubai. The project website estimates about 15 minutes by car from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.
Wynn's newest annual filing gives 225,000 sq ft, or about 20,900 sqm. Older project sources quote approximately 18,500 sqm, so this guide follows the newer company figure.
The announced total is 1,530 accommodation units: 1,217 Resort rooms, 297 Enclave suites, two Royal Apartments, four Garden Townhomes and 10 Marina Estates.
The General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority, or GCGRA, granted the licence to Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC, trading as Wynn Al Marjan. Wynn announced on 4 October 2024 that it had received the UAE's first commercial gaming facility operator licence.
By 10 August 2026, Wynn had not given a date for hotel reservations, and its dining page said restaurant bookings were still closed. An email sign-up is not a booking and promises neither a rate nor priority.
By 10 August 2026 Wynn had released no table game list, slot count or betting limits. The operator's gaming information and admission terms should be used when they appear, not details imported from another Wynn resort.
Wynn estimates about 15 minutes by car from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport and previously put the drive from Dubai International Airport at about 50 minutes. Traffic affects the journey, and Wynn Bridge was still under construction in the February 2026 update.
GCGRA advertising standards treat anyone under 21 as underage for commercial gaming other than lottery. Wynn had not released final gaming floor identity and admission rules by 10 August 2026, so check the Wynn and GCGRA terms before travelling.
